Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
